CALL FOR PROPOSALS 

Submission Deadline: March 15, 2025

Intensive trauma-focused therapy is rapidly developing. The purpose of our conference on intensive trauma therapy is to convene professionals who are conducting and/or researching intensives as well as those who are interested in doing so. 

• Pre-Conference Institute – please select half day (3 hours) or full day (6 hours)

For in-depth clinical skills training

• Workshop – please select 1.5 hours or 3 hours

• Interview Session, 60 minutes

Presenter discusses topic for 20 minutes. Then a “chair” asks prepared questions and engages with the presenter for 20 minutes. The final 20 minutes is for participant Q&A. You may designate the chair in your proposal or ask that one be provided. This format is suitable for a variety of research or practice topics.

• Research Group Presentation (3 to 5 presenters), 90 minutes

Brief presentations with time for audience Q&A. You may coordinate with colleagues to submit a group of presentations or submit an individual presentation and be placed with others in a group.

• Research Individual Presentations, 15-20 minutes (to be placed in a group)

• Panel Presentation/Discussion, 90 minutes (allow 20 minutes for Q&A)

• Hot Topics, 60 minutes

Up to five panelists will present for 5 minutes each, then open the discussion to include audience participation on “hot topics” such as intake/screening, marketing, children, complex trauma, etc. You may either propose a group of panelists or submit individually and be placed with others in a group.
