All therapists are trained in our research-supported treatment approach. Our primary Retreat therapists are listed below, including information on areas of expertise, schedule options, cost, and location.
The total cost of your treatment will vary by which therapist you work with, and how many days your therapy will take. Therapist fees range from $1000/day to $4,000/day. Policies on fees, cancellations etc. are shown at the bottom of this page.

Ricky Greenwald, PsyD, is the founder and executive director of Trauma Institute & Child Trauma Institute. He is a leading expert on EMDR, the developer of PC, and the developer of this therapy retreat service.

Jaclyn Bex, PhD, LMFT, is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, is trained in EMDR and PC, and is on the TICTI staff. She has been working with children, adolescents, and adults since 2010 providing individual, couples, group, and family therapy in the areas of grief, trauma, and infidelity. She is the co-director of TICTI’s satellite offices in North Carolina.

Elizabeth Davis, MFA, MS, LCAT, ATR-BC, is a board certified and state licensed art therapist. She is an EMDR Consultant and Instructor, a PC Consultant in Training, and trains other therapists in treating complex trauma. She is the director of TICTI’s satellite offices in New York. Elizabeth works for TICTI; however, she provides therapy through the independent practice of Ricky Greenwald, PsyD, in NY.

Brittany Feldmeyer, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with a diverse background in the Mental Health field. She has experience working with individuals from childhood to adulthood. She is trained in EMDR therapy as well as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Jessica Horder, MS, LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor with over 20 years’ experience counseling individuals and families. She is certified in EMDR therapy, an EMDRIA approved consultant, and assists on EMDR trainings. She is also intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and provides training and consultation on incorporating DBT skills into the treatment of complex trauma.

Policies
Here are the standard policies regarding cancellations, refunds, etc. These policies balance respect for the therapist’s time with providing flexibility for our clients.
Cancellations
- More than two weeks before the retreat start date: you will be refunded the amount already paid less a $100
service fee and applicable credit card fees (3% for Visa/Mastercard/Discover and 4% for American Express). - Within two weeks of the retreat start date: you will be refunded the amount already paid less two days’ fee and
applicable credit card fees (3% for Visa/Mastercard/Discover and 4% for American Express). - No show: you will be refunded the amount already paid less two days’ fee and applicable credit card fees (3% for
Visa/Mastercard/Discover and 4% for American Express).
Time of cancellation is as of the first business day at 9:00 AM following notification. So, for example:
- Notification on a Saturday afternoon would count as having occurred the following Monday morning.
- Notification on Wednesday morning at 8:30 AM would count as having occurred that morning (because notification was before 9:00 AM).
- Notification on Wednesday at 9:30 AM would count as having occurred the next day, Thursday morning.
Finishing Early
There is a minimum charge of two days. After that, you will only be charged for time used, in half-day increments. For example, if you leave some time in the morning of the third day, you will be charged for 2.5 days and refunded the remaining amount prepaid.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who do not have insurance or are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical services.
- If you request it, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any nonemergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
- If the service is scheduled at least 3 business days before the date of service, you have a right to receive a Good Faith Estimate in writing no later than one 1 business day after the date of scheduling if you request it.
- If the service is scheduled at least 10 business days before the date of service, you have a right to receive a Good Faith Estimate in writing no later than 3 business days after the date of scheduling if you request it.
- If you request a Good Faith Estimate, you have a right to receive it no later than 3 business days after the date of the request.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate for those dates of service, you can dispute the bill.
